Doubling Blackjack Strategy

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should know that blackjack is probably the most popular casino game around today. Sure, the game is fun, but that’s only half of the story. The main reason that blackjack is so popular is that players have among the best odds to win, compared to other casino games.

Just because players have better odds in blackjack than other games, doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re destined to win. To win, a player needs to have a solid strategy. Here’s one strategy that is easy to understand and put into action, whether you’re playing online or at a live casino. It’s called the Doubling Strategy.

Like the name suggests, players need to double their bets to use this strategy effectively. Start out betting the absolute minimum bet on your first hand. If you win, continue betting the next hand with the minimum again. If you lose, simple double your bet (e.g. bet $0.50 instead of $0.25) repeat this doubling each time you lose. When you do win a hand, you’ll recoup any previous loss and more. Just remember, every time that you win a hand, return to betting the minimum amount on the next hand. It’s that easy!
