Winning Poker Hands

To play poker right, one must know what hands win a person a poker game. A player can win a game of poker by means of any of the following 10 ways.
Firstly, a player wins if he holds a Royal Flush. Anyone whose cards form a Royal Flush cannot be beaten since this is the highest possible combination of cards. A person holds a Royal Flush if his cards form five card sequence, from 10 to Ace, all in the same suit.
Secondly, a player can win in he holds a Straight Flush. A straight Flush is such that a person holds a five card sequence, all of the same color in the same suit. Higher the value of the highest card of the straight flush, higher is the chance of winning. In fact, a Royal Flush is a Straight Flush with a high card Ace. Thirdly, a player can win the game if he holds a “Four of a Kind’ set of cards. The person who holds such a suit holds all four kinds of a particular kind of card. The higher the value of the four cards, the more are the chances of him winning.
Next, a person can win with a full house. A person has a full house when he holds three cards of the same kind along with a pair of a different kind of cards. If two players tie on a full house, the one with the higher value of three of a kind card wins. Then, a player can win if he holds a Flush wherein, a person holds five cards, all of the same suit, Next there is a Straight where a person has five cards in sequence, not necessarily in the same suit. Also, a player can win a Three of a Kind where a person can win if he has three cards of the same kind. There is also Two Pair when a person holds teo different pairs of cards. Then, there is Pair where a person holds a pair of cards. Finally a person may hold a high card. It is not much likely that a person can win holding just a high card.
